A Year Ago Today

Thought I'd give an update on how my life has changed since I last wrote a note a year ago today.

I went to Osaka, Japan as an ESL teacher. A month later the company I worked for went bankrupt. I lost my job and was unemployed for a month before I managed to get a new job (also as an ESL teacher).

I lost a lot of friends due to the bankruptcy, I traveled, I made different friends at my new job and came back to Canada exactly a year after I had left it.

Now I'm working at Toyota in their legal department and think Japan was just some magical dream.

Good thing I have the pictures to remind myself that it wasn't.
