Elizabeth Swann wannabe

I made this dress for two reasons: I love French Revolution designs, and I love Pirates of the Carribean.

That's me posing at a pirate festival in Toronto. The dress took about a month to make because of my busy schedule, and the material is heavy and very warm. Getting into it is easy enough, as I made the front part of the bodice (the cream part) removable. I just put the rest of the dress on like a coat, and then do up all the hooks. (There's about thirty.)

After the festival was over, my friends and I all went straight out to dinner. The waiter thought I was nuts.
